Tokyo Midtown Christmas 2013

I went back to Roppongi, this time in Tokyo Midtown to see the numerous illuminations and decorations that have been set up for our viewing pleasure.

First, Santa Street. Among the large plaza’s illuminated trees were a dozen of super cute (this is Japan, after all) Santas. Of course, everyone is taking pictures of themselves with each Santa, so it was not easy to find an “available” one.

Then we went inside the shopping complex to see two installations called Santa Tree and Diamond Dust. They were okay, but not so impressive.

Then we proceeded to the prettiest part in my opinion, the Champagne Illumination and Starlight Road. They were really beautiful.

There was a Coca Cola Santa Claus bus passing at this moment ! Too bad it came out blurry.

Final, the most popular part, the Starlight Garden, was not so interesting for me, as I am not particularily fond of watching a field of LED lights. This kind of settings seems to be very popular in Tokyo. Personally, two minutes was enough ! My eyes hurt.
